How to Stream IPTV M3U Playlists on PC & Mac using VLC & PotPlayer

Watching television on a desktop PC or laptop computer offers great flexibility. Using media players like VLC or PotPlayer gives you instant access to your channel lineup with zero extra software cost.

VLC Setup Guide (Windows & Mac)

  1. Download and install VLC Media Player (100% free open-source).
  2. Launch VLC, click Media ➡️ Open Network Stream (or press Ctrl + N).
  3. Paste your MyTV Portal M3U URL into the network link field.
  4. Click Play. Press Ctrl + L to open the Playlist window and browse channel categories.

PotPlayer Setup Guide (Windows)

PotPlayer is a lightweight Windows media player with faster channel switching than VLC. Press F8 to open the Playlist panel, right-click, choose Add ➡️ Add URL, paste your M3U link, and hit OK.
