Step-by-Step Guide: How to Install and Set Up Smart IPTV on Samsung & LG

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) is one of the most reliable and user-friendly applications for LG and Samsung Smart TVs. Although it is a paid app (requiring a one-time activation fee of around €5.49 after a 7-day trial), its stability makes it worth every cent. Here is how to set it up.

Step 1: Download the App on your TV

Go to your Smart TV App Store (Samsung Smart Hub or LG Content Store). Search for "Smart IPTV". Download and install the application. Once downloaded, launch it. You will see a screen displaying a unique 12-character **MAC Address** (looks like A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6). Take a note of this address.

Step 2: Upload Your M3U Playlist URL

Go to your computer or phone and visit the official Smart IPTV upload portal: https://siptv.app/mylist/

  1. Locate the section labeled **"Upload local playlist file or external playlist URL"**.
  2. Enter your TV's **MAC Address** in the first field.
  3. Paste your unique **M3U playlist link** (obtained from your MyTV Portal dashboard) into the **"Link"** field.
  4. Click the **"Send"** button. A message saying "Success!" will appear at the bottom.

Step 3: Restart the App on Your TV

Go back to your Smart TV. Close the Smart IPTV app completely and launch it again (or press the Blue button on your remote to reload). The app will connect to the SIPTV server, download the playlist configurations, and display your channels grouped neatly into categories.
